Do I have to bring my own computer to Blogshop.
Yes. You can bring a laptop or a desktop, but we ask that it be a Mac. You and your little computer buddy will have a good time, promise.
Do I need to have Photoshop to attend the class?
Yes, however, we can give you the URL to download the free 30 day trial of Photoshop to use for the class in case you don't want to purchase it right away.
Will Photoshop Element work for the class?
No, we teach on the full version of photoshop, and although elements does a lot of great things, we want you to have the full range of the full version of Photoshop, at least for the class.
Is the class for beginners?
Yes, we teach Photoshop from scratch, so if you have never touched Photoshop before, this class is perfect for you. That being said, if you know a bit about the program already, you may still have stuff to learn, and you can email blogshopla@gmail.com and Angela will help you figure out if the class is right for you. We want it to be a perfect fit, so feel free to ask us.
What do I need to bring to the class?
You need to bring your computer, loaded with photoshop, a mouse, and some comfy clothes, becuase you KNOW we are going to get some serious work done.
How long is the class?
The class runs from 9-5ish both days. If you have to leave early to catch a flight or go to a party or something fancy, let us know and we can chat about it.
Will we be coming to your area soon?
If you want to request your city, click the handy "Request Your City" link on the side to be signed up for our mailing list. That way you'll know the minute we choose dates for your area.
Do I have to have a blog to take this class?
No, lots of people take this class, even if they don't have a blog yet (though, we bet you're going to want to start one right away). Also, everything we teach can be used for other things like holiday cards, fixing up your vacation photos, invitations for parties, updating your company branding, working on any website, customizing your etsy shop header, etc. Photoshop has all sorts of fun uses, and we won't limit you.
What does the class include?
FUN.
The class includes a bunch of fun, and learning and creativity, and blogging and design.
You get a fun goodie bag, 2 days of instruction, lunch both days, and hopefully a new way of looking at your blog and other visual materials.
The class does NOT include accommodations. We wish we had blogshop bunkbeds, but lets be honest, that could get weird really quick.
